Latest Humanitarian Update from Bosnia and Herzegovina
A sudden increase in COVID-19 cases in the Temporary Reception Centre at Borići (nine positive cases) led to the centre beig subject to to a 14-day lockdown, starting from 6 March. IOM staff immediately communicated the decision to all migrants and asylum seekers in the centre, informing them of the restrictions on leaving and re-entering the centre during the lockdown period.
There were several high-profile visits to Provisional Camp Lipa, including the Ambassador of Switzerland and the Director-General of the Swiss Agency for Development and Cooperation (SDC). The full report can be accessed here
